Binance Riding High as BNB Token Sets New Record

Binance Coin (BNB) prolonged its latest gains to set a new record in bitcoin value. The high-performing tokens are issues by Binance, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange company.

According to reports, BNB was being traded at 0.002619 BTC ($9.60) after hitting 0.002688 BTC on Monday at around 10:00 UTC. Binance data revealed it was the highest amount ever reached in the cryptocurrency’s short history.

BNB was initially opened for trading on July 2017. The token has generated almost 9,600 % ROI since its initial coin offering (ICO) amount of $0.10 in December 2017.

Despite its remarkable achievement, BNB isn’t anywhere near its pinnacle in terms of US dollar values. Based on data from Onchain FX, BNB’s present figures indicate a slowdown of 58 % from the token’s previous USD peak of $22.48 on Jan. 12, 2018.

Binance’s BNB-high is a result of the token’s solid performance for the past few weeks.

Onchain FX’s information also showed that BNB seriously outclassed BTC, the current market leader and the globe’s biggest cryptocurrency bitcoin for the past three months. BNB also boasts a 35 % boost in the past week when bitcoin figures went up by five percent.

BNB’s strong showing the past few weeks has pushed it to the top 10 biggest cryptocurrencies via market capitalization. Coinmarketcap.com states that the market is currently registered at $1.33 billion.

Despite hitting an all-time high, BNB is not the best bitcoin performer. ARK, Theta Token, and Dentacoin have received gains of 35%, 43%, and 43% respectively.
